UConn Football Schedules Series with North Carolina State

The Huskies will make the trip to Raleigh for the 2022 season, with the Wolfpack slated to return the favor in the 2023 season.

The UConn Huskies have scheduled a home-and-home football series with the NC State Wolfpack, per a press release from NC State Athletics.

The Huskies will visit Raleigh in 2022, while the Wolfpack will make the return trip to Pratt & Whitney Stadium in 2023. UConn and NC State have met on the gridiron twice before, with the Pack claiming victory on both occasions. The last meeting took place back in 2012 when NC State edged the Huskies in East Hartford, 10-7.

NC State is coming off a 7-6 season, going 3-5 in ACC play. The season ended with a blowout loss in the Belk Bowl to SEC foe Mississippi State. It's a solid P5 school that is always very competitive, giving UConn a nice match-up on the non-conference schedule, even if it is a few years down the road.

UConn's non-conference schedule is fully booked through the 2019 season. There is one open date spot for 2020 and three openings available for the 2021 season. NC State is UConn's second scheduled non-conference game in both 2022 and 2023.

It is also worth noting that UConn and Tennessee are still under contract for a home-and-home series which was delayed, with the reschedule still to be announced.
