VIDEO: UConn's Big Three Made the Most of Final Game at Gampel

Breanna Stewart, Moriah Jefferson and Morgan Tuck delivered a performance to remember in their final game on campus.

After getting off to a quick start in their first round game versus Robert Morris, the story was quite different in the second round against Duquesne- at least at the start. The Dukes had a game plan that seemed to be working.

That plan was to let Moriah Jefferson and Morgan Tuck beat them from the outside. Duquesne head coach Dan Burt knew he probably wouldn't stop Breanna Stewart on the inside.

The plan worked... until it didn't. Stewart, Jefferson and Tuck completely took over the game. It started with an incredible defensive sequence by Stewart, who blocked three shots to help force a shot clock violation. Right after that, Stewie had an amazing tip-in for a basket.

From there, Jefferson started hitting threes. Tuck hit one herself and made a layup on a feed from Jefferson. The defense clamped down and the game went from a 20-14 UConn lead at the end of the first quarter to 42-21 at the half.

When the final buzzer sounded, the trio scored 61 of the 97 points in the game with Stewie leading the way at 21. She also pulled down an amazing total of 16 rebounds.

We spoke with the team about the impressive performance from its elder leadership.
