VIDEO: UConn Women's Basketball Reacts To Jalen Adams' Shot

Just like everyone else, the UConn women's basketball players were yelling and screaming after the shot.

Logan Bowles-USA TODAY Sports

When Jalen Adams hit the miracle shot on Friday to help the UConn men's basketball team beat Cincinnati, you probably heard a collective roar throughout the state. You can bet that part of that shouting came from the UConn Huskies women's basketball team.

It almost didn't happen for them though. With the game starting at 2 p.m., the three-time defending national champions were an hour into practice as they prepared to get ready for the NCAA Tournament.

According to Breanna Stewart, it was as if head coach Geno Auriemma didn't want them to watch the game. But practice finished up at the end of regulation and the UConn women were able to catch overtime(s) in their spacious locker room at the Werth Family Champions Center on campus.

And of course, as you might expect, their collective reactions were probably no different than anyone else who saw the shot.
