UConn women’s soccer is on quite the run in the last six weeks. Since a 3-0 loss to then-No. 1 Florida State on September 8 in Tallahassee, the Huskies have not lost.

They are 9-0-1 in their last 10 matches, with the tie coming to SMU during a two-game swing through Texas. They extended that streak with two wins this week to hold their No. 21 ranking. They got wins against the directional Florida’s; UCF on Thursday and USF on Sunday’s senior day.

During this 10-game unbeaten streak, they have only allowed six goals in this stretch while scoring 25 goals.

The Bulls team they beat on Sunday is the only other team in the American to get votes in the coaches’ poll. They took home two points and sit in received votes.

As for UConn men’s soccer, they had a 1-1-0 week with a tough loss to USF on Saturday that offset their 1-0 win over Yale on Tuesday.

The loss snapped their seven-game winning streak and the 22nd minute goal for the Bulls snapped a shut-out streak that was 479:20 old.

The Huskies took home 19 points from the coaches, good for seventh among the teams that received votes.

Of their remaining opponents, only Boston College garnered attention from the coaches. The Eagles got three points and will come to Morrone Stadium on Tuesday evening for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff.
