The UConn men's basketball program released its full 2015-16 schedule Tuesday afternoon.
UConn opens the season Nov. 13 against Maine at Gampel Pavilion. The Huskies will again open conference play on the road, this time at Tulane Jan. 2.
The Huskies will play 16 games at home, nine at Gampel Pavilion and seven at the XL Center. There is a two-month stretch in December in January when the Huskies only play at Gampel Pavilion twice: the Saturday before finals begin and again while students are on break. After classes resume in January, UConn plays three straight games at the XL Center.
Gampel: Maine (Nov. 13), New Hampshire (Nov. 17), Furman (Nov. 21), Ohio State (Dec. 12), Memphis (Jan. 9), East Carolina (Feb. 7), Tulsa (Feb. 13), Houston (Feb. 28), UCF (March 6)
XL: Sacred Heart (Dec. 2), UMass Lowell (Dec. 20), Central Connecticut (Dec. 23), Temple (Jan. 5), Tulane (Jan. 19), Georgetown (Jan. 23), Cincinnati (Jan. 28), SMU (Feb. 18)
UConn will play at least 11 times on either ESPN or ESPN2, and the home games against Ohio State and Georgetown will both be Saturday games on CBS.
The big away game in conference will be at SMU. UConn will return to Dallas March 3, for what could be an important game in the race for the American regular season title.
