Price and Amida Brimah celebrated as their EbLens squad knocked off Hot 93.7, 102-101, to win the Greater Hartford Pro-Am championship on Friday night." "Dolson, though, has been able to stay healthy, and she's ready for a strong finish. Watching Dolson this season has been a case study in player development. She had to learn to slow down to speed up her improvement, and when the Mystics really needed her to embrace a big role, she did."

"UConn head coach Bob Diaco said he has determined the pecking order but isn't ready to announce it, but it's a safe bet that's the order it will likely end up, surely with Shirreffs, the transfer from N.C. State, the No.1."
"What Bob Diaco builds with his football program in the next few years is as important to the state university as any academician, any research facility, anything UConn does. That's because, hate it or not, the billions of dollars poured into major universities — money used to buttress the future of the Big Ten, the ACC, the Power Five monopoly — arrives from football television money. If UConn one day wants to return to being New Hampshire or Maine, so be it. As long as it has long-term designs to run with the biggest dogs, however, the one route runs through football."
