Kevin Ollie Optimistic With Deep UConn Team

"I like the experience we have, especially with our young guys working very, very hard," Ollie said Tuesday morning as he walked from the Convention Center after a speech at the Open Hearth's annual Overcomer Breakfast. "I like the new additions. I think we've got a very deep team, and guys are going to challenge each other every day in practice. That's what we want, that breeds success when everybody's competitive for minutes."

UConn Learns Which AAC Hoop Teams It Will Play Twice In 2015

Recent announcement from the American Athletic Conference tells who UConn will be playing in conference games. UConn gets everyone in the league for a home and home except ECU and USF. ECU will travel to Connecticut, and UConn will travel to South Florida. Last year UConn was 5-0 against ECU and USF.

Huskies land commitment from 2016 forward Mamadou Diarra
A 6-foot-8-inch forward from Queens is the first player to commit to UConn for the class of 2016.

Diallo likes UConn

Hamidou Diallo, who happens to be Mamadou Diarra's teammate at Woodstock, says publicly that if he had to decide today, he would go to UConn. Diallo is a top-40 prospect in the Class of 2017.

Terps Involved with VCU Transfer Terry Larrier

A top-50 recruit in the class of 2014 is transferring from VCU. His top two are Maryland and Connecticut. He visited UConn on Thursday. We will wait and see where the 6-foot-8 forward lands.

UConn To Meet Florida State in Hall of Fame Women's Holiday Showcase on Dec. 11

Crozier Named To Rimington Trophy Watch List

Sophomore Ryan Crozier has been placed on the spring Rimington Trophy watch list. The award is given to the most outstanding center in college football. Crozier appeared in 10 games last year, starting the final three at left guard.

"UConn will play host to the Orange on September 24, 2016 at Rentschler Field while the Huskies will travel to the Carrier Dome on September 29, 2018."
