Men's Basketball: UConn Moves Up One Spot in AP Poll

UConn moved up one spot to No. 18 in this week's Associated Press poll after beating New Hampshire and Furman with ease.

With North Carolina's loss to Northern Iowa, the Tar Heels dropped from No. 1 to No. 9. Kentucky is the new No. 1, earning 59 of the 65 first-place votes.

UConn is 3-0 entering the Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas, where the Huskies will take on some of the top teams in the nation. The Huskies are the only ranked team on their side of the bracket (Michigan received three votes). No. 10 Gonzaga and No. 25 Texas A&M could potentially meet in the semifinals.
