This week on The UConn Pod, Brenner, Tim and myself run through regular updates on UConn soccer, field hockey, football, and, of course, #icebus. We also touched on the following:
- Hockey arena situation, good or bad?
- How long until UConn Men's Hockey is a regular contender?

Weekend CFB Schedule
UConn will be playing in the Friday night lights of ESPNU this weekend, which gives you an entire Saturday to watch college football! You could take the weekend off, it's supposedly a "light" schedule and with the days getting shorter maybe you want to make the most of your weekend by going apple picking or partaking in Halloween festivities.
For the rest of us, there's football.
Here are a few suggestions for what to keep an eye on this weekend.
Central Florida (0-8) at Cincinnati (4-3), 12pm, ESPNews
You don't actually have to watch, there are obviously better games out there, but you may want to see Cincinnati drop 100.
South Florida (4-3) at Navy (5-1), 12pm, CBS Sports
USF is decent, maybe? The Bulls have won three straight and if they can beat Navy then they're almost definitely going bowling. If they lose, a schedule which takes them from East Carolina to home dates with Temple and Cincinnati before a soft landing at Central Florida will not make it easy.
Tulane (2-5) at (16) Memphis (7-0), 7pm, CBS Sports
UConn travels to New Orleans next weekend for what should be its final winnable game of the season. Find out exactly how winnable when the Green Wave face the conference's top dog in Memphis.
(9) Notre Dame (6-1) at (21) Temple (7-0), 8pm, ABC
ESPN's College Gameday will be on-site in Philadelphia for this match-up which will give the American another chance to #rise against a CFB Playoff contender in Notre Dame. The Golden Domers only loss so far this season has been to No. 3 Clemson, while the Owls are undefeated after mounting a fourth-quarter comeback against East Carolina.
