UConn Handles UCF 67-60

In their return to Gampel Pavilion, the Huskies storm past UCF to improve to 10-7

David Butler II-USA TODAY Sports

Storrs, CT-- At times, UConn threatened to run away with this game. Their biggest lead was 18 late in the first half, but UCF kept hanging around. The Huskies got a spectacular shooting performance in the first half, finishing 10-17 from the three point line. Ryan Boatright, looking aggressive for the first time in weeks, led all scorers with 18 points. Daniel Hamilton had a strong all around game, finishing with 10 points, 9 rebound sand 7 assists.

This was the first time the Huskies have been at Gampel Pavilion in 48 days. It was a heck of a homecoming. UConn  desperately needed this win, and they put in a big time effort to get it done.
