Bob Diaco returns from a busy weekend to some good news as the Class of 2015 has its newest commitment, 5-foot-11, 180 pound cornerback Justice Pettus-Dixon from St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland.

According to 247, he is the highest rated prospect in our recruiting class and the interest from other schools appears to indicate as such. Justice Pettus-Dixon had offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Marshall, NC State, Oregon State and New Mexico, among others. He received his offer at the beginning of July and had good things to say about UConn after his visit, according to an interview on Rivals. He liked what he heard from the coaching staff and thinks UConn has a chance to become a power in a few years.
In an interview on 247 his high school coach said, "He'll be a steal for somebody...He's really turning it up. He's a guy I'm marking as a nickel back right away. As his career develops he can move outside or move to strong safety because he's so physical." Bob Diaco and his staff have been doing a great job of finding players who are versatile, strong and committed to getting better.
Pettus-Dixon is the third cornerback in the recruiting class thus far. Bob Diaco will be making his mark with this team through the defense, and while it would be great to find some O-Line players in the class, the defense is shaping up very nicely.
LET'S GO HUSKIES!!!
