Outlook

In two consecutive seasons, DeAndre Daniels has started quietly but finished strong. While some think DeAndre could have used another year of seasoning, his stock is quite high after keying UConn's run to (yet another!) NCAA Championship. For him the risk of injury or a down season after roster turnover outweighed the possible benefits of a strong, consistent senior year. More than that though, I think he just felt he was ready.

Despite being a Junior, DeAndre Daniels still has some unmet potential. He needs to put on some muscle and if he can improve his defense there's no reason to believe he can't be a solid rotation player in the pros. If another team believes the same Daniels could sneak into the end of the first round.

P.S. Shabazz Napier has been mocked to death to the Heat, both Giffey and Daniels have worked out for them. Is Miami ready for a new Big Three?
