Chasz Wright, a two-star recruit according to Rivals was the first player to commit in UConn's 2013 class. Wright played for C.D. Hylton high in Woodbridge, VA. He chose UConn over Penn St., NC State and Old Dominion, who had all extended offers to him.
He's expected to play offensive tackle at UConn, but starred on the defensive side of the ball as well in high school. He posted 55 tackles and seven sacks in his senior season. He checks in at 6'7, 275 lbs.
