Riding a stellar post-season run which includes winning the AAC Championship and copping two straight penalty kick wins to beat favored teams in the NCAA Tournament, UConn takes on the Virginia Cavaliers tonight at 7pm in Klockner Stadium. This is UConn's seventh, and third consecutive, Quarterfinal appearance under head coach Ray Reid. The last time these two teams played was actually in the 2008 NCAA Tournament, a 2-0 UConn win at Charlottesville. Let's hope for more of the same tonight.
The winner of this game advances to the College Cup (NCAA Soccer's version of the Final Four) in Philadelphia to face the winner of #5 Maryland at #4 California.
