Hey folks, sorry it's been quiet around here lately, that's something that will change next week, but for now it's time to focus on today's game in South Bend against Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish might be the best team UConn's played this year, and they're certainly the best since the Michigan St. game. The Irish are 14-1 and haven't lost since before Thanksgiving, and they'll be playing at the Joyce Center, one of the bigger home court advantages in the Big East.
They're not a great defensive team (KenPom has them 143 in defensive efficiency), but they are absolutely deadly on offense, so the Huskies could be in for a shootout. Notre Dame has three shooters who are over 40 percent from three, and one of them, Scott Martin, is shooting above 50 percent. Senior Jack Cooley anchors the Irish inside, and is averaging a double-double on the year, so look for him to challenge Tyler Olander and Enosch Wolf.
