UConn's 2012-13 got underway in fine style last night as the women's soccer team hosted and outclassed No. 6 UCLA at Morrone Stadium -- that is until mother nature stepped in. The unranked Huskies jumped out to an early 2-0 lead and held a 3-2 advantage at the 32:55 mark of the second when the game was stopped due to lightning. Unfortunately for the Huskies the game and stats will not count, so instead of a massive victory to open the season they have what's essentially a glorified exhibition on their hands. They host Vermont on Sunday in what will hopefully be their first full game.
