UConn women receive No. 1 seed

Fresh off their victory over Notre Dame in the women's Big East Tournament, Geno Auriemma's UConn Huskies are a No. 1 seed in the Kingston (as in Rhode Island) regional. Their opening game will be against Prairie View, and the No. 2 seed in their region is Kentucky. If the seeds hold the Huskies would get another crack at rival Notre Dame in the national semifinal. The winner of that stands a good chance to take on Baylor, the tournament's overall No. 1 seed, in the championship game.
