UConn head coach Jim Calhoun will continue his indefinite leave of medical absence for the team's next three games. Calhoun, who has missed UConn's last three games, is battling pain from spinal stenosis. The Huskies are 1-2 during his absence.
George Blaney will continue to coach the team through tonight's game against DePaul, Saturday's matchup with Marquette and Monday's Big Monday matchup at Villanova.
The silver lining, if there is one, is that this creates the possibility that Calhoun's return could come when UConn hosts Syracuse on College Gameday two Saturdays from now. That would be a nice environment to see him come back to.
