UConn has its final tune up this morning, hosting UMass-Lowell at the XL Center. Hopefully the Huskies will be able to avoid the slow start that plagued them on Thursday, and instead the team that blew out AIC in the second half will show up.
No matter which UConn team shows up, center Enosch Wolf will be joining them and adding some much-needed height to the lineup. Wolf saw only limited floor time in his first two years at UConn, so we can't be sure what we're going to get, but we do know that UConn needs to get something from him.
The game tips off at 1 and is being broadcast on UConnHuskies.com. I won't be able to join in the discussion below, but I'll stop by with some thoughts later. UConn soccer is also playing at 1, in a Big East tournament game that will also be broadcast on UConnHuskies.com, so feel free to talk about that as well.
Oh, and be sure to read this story about former Husky and current UMass-Lowell assistant Souleyman Wane, who became a US citizen on Friday and is coaching against his alma mater today. It's a fantastic piece.
Go Huskies, and remember: Take the stairs, because escalators are for cowards.
