Hey everyone, hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. We're back in action today after taking a few days off, as is the UConn football team which has headed south to Kentucky to take on the Louisville Cardinals. UConn is theoretically playing for bowl eligibility -- if they win today and against Cincinnati in their closer they'll finish at 6-6 and get a bid somewhere. But again, that's a long shot. Also, a win today would spoil Louisville's BCS hopes, which would normally be great, but in this case would send Rutgers to the BCS, which would be rather unfortunate.
Oh, and there is also that whole realignment thing, as everyone on twitter has said for the last week, UConn apparently doesn't know how to play football in the slightest, whereas the Louisville program is literally the only school in the country with a successful team. So, at least for my sanity (and ability to troll Louisville fans), a win or even a close game would be nice.
The game kicks off at noon on SNY. This is your OpenThread. Join the conversation below. Go Huskies.
