After a relatively sedate first weekend of college basketball when the biggest loser was whoever decided to play a game on a boat, the weekly AP poll didn't change much and only one new team made the Top 25. However, that team happens to be the team that this blog is dedicated to, so it's kind of a big deal that UConn's win over Michigan St. propelled them to the No. 23 slot in the country. A ranking in November means next to nothing (ask last year's team), but that doesn't mean it still isn't a nice topper to a great weekend and a good sign for a team that's going to be in need of positive motivation all year.
