Five Things We Learned About UConn Football -
It's worse than expected this season and earning a bowl berth looks like a near impossibility today. Imagine that. The last time UConn missed the postseason in consecutive years was in 2004 and 2005. The Huskies went to four straight before last season. One of the biggest reasons UConn is playing football is to get to bowl games.

UConn's McCombs In Trouble Again -
It's tough to play Solomon with domestic problems. They can disappear as quickly as they appear. I don't know how hard either person pushed each other, or what was the genesis of the argument, but I do know this much. Spitting on your girlfriend comes off as far less than classy. And there is something else that has rung true far longer than November 1869. A real man doesn't put his hands on a woman in anger. Ever.

UConn's Focus Is On Maximizing The Red Zone -
Broken down further, here's all you need to know about UConn's red zone opportunities: Of the 17 times they've been inside the opponent's 20, the Huskies have kicked six field goals. They've scored six times via the ground and three more through the air.

For Paul Pasqualoni, Steve Addazio, Friendship Ceases For Several Hours Saturday -
The relationship between the coaches was a popular line of questioning Monday. Pasqualoni said he said a future head coach when he had Addazio on his staff at Western Connecticut in the 1980s. Addazio reminisced about coaches sleeping in the office at Western after hours of cutting game tape.

Much of UConn's athletic fundraising is secret - News -
Many universities use private tax-exempt foundations to raise money, but what separates Connecticut from other schools is a measure passed by the state legislature a decade ago that exempts the University of Connecticut Foundation from state freedom of information laws. Also, the state Supreme Court in February ruled the school can keep its lists of donors and season-ticketholders private, saying they amount to trade secrets.
