UConn's sophomore All-America goalie Andre Blake had seven saves Wednesday and forwards Mamadou Doudou Diouf and Allando Matheson each scored as the men's soccer team beat Georgetown 2-1 in Washington. UConn, ranked No. 2, remained unbeaten and handed No. 3 Georgetown its first defeat of the season.

WNYT (NBC-13) weekend sports anchor Andrew Catalon will call play-by-play for 20 University of Connecticut women’s basketball game on SportsNet New York, the network announced this morning. Former UConn players Meghan Culmo and Kara Wolters will be the analysts, and SNY reporter/anchor Kerith Burke will work as the sideline reporter. Gary Apple, a former WRGB (CBS-6) sports anchor, will anchor SNY’s studio coverage alongside Wolters.
