TheOpenThread: West Virginia vs. UConn

After a hellish trip through New Jersey, life doesn't get any easier for the Huskies tonight as they return to Hartford to host the West Virginia Mountaineers in what could easily be a lifeless XL Center. West Virginia is good -- they're coming off a 12 point win over No. 9 Georgetown -- and their only losses in the last month were a two-point overtime nailbiter against Baylor and a 19-point loss to Seton Hall (something UConn is all too familiar with).

Both teams are playing on short rest after Saturday games, but UConn will at least have the advantage of being home.

If you're looking for the story ESPN will beat into the ground tonight, my bet would be on Ryan Boatright's matchup with the team he originally committed to, only to withdraw after the Mountaineers singed onetime UConn target Jabarie Hinds.

The game tips at 7 on ESPN2 and ESPN3. Please join us to share your thoughts in the comments. Go Huskies.
