The men's basketball team has been in New Jersey for about a week now and all we have to show for it is some light trolling from Seton Hall fans. I am not pleased with that state of affairs, but luckily the Huskies will have a chance for redemption tonight as Jim Calhoun returns to the bench and UConn takes on Rutgers at the RAC.
Rutgers is not a good team (Ken Pom has them at 128), and UConn should win, but the Huskies have struggled on the road and are not playing anything close to good basketball. Niels Giffey will be making his first start of the year, and Tyler Olander might find his way into the starting lineup as well as Alex Oriakhi continues to struggle.
The game tips at 8 on SNY and ESPN3. Join us in the comments below, and here's hoping we don't lose to one of the worst three Big East teams. Go Huskies.
