No surprises here my friends as UConn's year of HAM continues. The Huskies took out Louisville 7-5 this afternoon at J.O. Christian Field and for the first time in school history they are outright Big East champs.
George Springer hit his 11th homerun of the season and Greg Nappo went seven innings in a winning effort. Nappo gave up five runs, but only two of them were earned (the Huskies had four errors). Nappo moves to 8-2 on the season.
Clinching the title gives the Huskies the top seed in the Big East Tournament. It will be played in Clearwater, Fla. starting May 25.
