TheOpenThread: NCAA Tournament Selection Show

Two tournaments down, one to go.
Two tournaments down, one to go.

Four months ago we had no idea what today would bring. A year removed from the NIT and loaded with fresh faces, spending March on the bubble didn't seem like a likely possibility so much as it seemed like a reasonable goal. For dreamers like me, the best-case scenario seemed like a mid-range seed and a win or two in the tournament. But of course, that was four months ago. Now, 26 wins, nine losses and a Big East Championship later, anything seems possible.

Tonight UConn starts the last part of their journey as the NCAA Tournament brackets are unveiled. The Huskies are in line for a 2 or 3 seed (I'd best on a 3), but the real key is in who they're paired with. The short version? Hope that Ohio St., Kansas and Duke stay as far away from UConn as possible and keep your fingers crossed for a date with BYU and Jimmer Fredette

The selection show starts at 6 p.m. on CBS. This is your OpenThread for that and any other tournament-related thoughts you want to share. Go Huskies.
