TheOpenThread Doubleheader: UConn soccer vs. Louisville, Basketball vs. Columbia

New, comments

It's a big, big night in UConn sports. First up on tap: UConn soccer taking on Louisville in the Big East Tournament semifinals. The game, which starts at 5, is being broadcast on the CBS College Sports Network, so dig through your cable offerings to figure out what the hell the CBS College Sports Network is and join as as the Huskies look to put a late-season swoon behind them and get back to playing the type of soccer that ha them as the No. 1 team in the country for most of the year.

After that things only get better, as the action switches over to Gampel Pavilion and ESPNU. The Huskies will unveil the banner for their third national championship and then immediately get started on defending it by taking on Columbia. And if you haven't done it yet, make sure to slice out a chunk of your afternoon to read Meacham's massive season preview.

I'll be here for all four hours of UConn goodness and I hope you'll join me in the comments. Go Huskies.
