UConn files its response to NCAA allegations

UConn has given the NCAA its response to allegations of recruiting violations in the men's basketball program, according to the Associated Press. Today was the deadline for the Huskies to respond to the NCAA, they had previously received two extensions.

UConn spokesman Kyle Muncy did not tell the AP if the school has imposed self-imposed sanctions, but I think that is probably a reasonable expectation based on the allegations and evidence we've seen so far.

From the AP:

UConn spokesman Kyle Muncy says the response fills up several three-ring binders and some information must be redacted to comply with state and federal privacy laws. He says the university plans to post the response on its website once that has been done.

It sure looks like I'm going to be doing a lot of reading in the near future. More as it happens.
