UConn's Jordan Todman out for Buffalo game

Say WHAT?!

Jordan Todman, UConn's lone competent offensive skill player, was listed as "out" in the team's weekly, incredibly-vague injury report with an "arm" injury. (Actually, the press release merely states, "Arm," so it's possible he could have just grown one or two, Goro-style, and is recovering.)

Todman, who has rushed for 448 yards and five touchdowns on 61 carries this season, left the field midway through last week's loss to Temple with an apparent arm injury but later returned to the field. The junior would go on to compile 192 total rushing yards and scored on a 59-yard touchdown. But his fumble with 8:28 left in the fourth quarter was returned by the Owls' Adrian Robinson for what would ultimately become the game-deciding touchdown.

Scott Lutrus will also miss his third straight game with another "upper extremity," while guard Zach Hurd is probable with a leg injury.
