Tough blow this weekend at summer practice, as defensive end Marcus Campbell is done for the season after tearing his ACL during a non-contact drill Saturday. The junior will have knee surgery later this week. Campbell had 24 tackles as a freshman in 2008, and was academically ineligible in 2009. Campbell was a probable starter at DE once Randy Edsall decided to redshirt Greg Lloyd. UConn's depth will be severley tested now - other than Campbell and Lloyd, the entire post-spring two-deep at defensive end is made up of sophomores and freshmen.
