Not cool, Seton Hall

+

The UConn baseball team lost out on the regular season Big East championship when the Huskies lost to Seton Hall, 3-2, today at J.O. Christian Field. The Huskies took 2 of 3 against the Pirates, but this loss combined with Louisville's 3-game sweep of Notre Dame means that the Cardinals will sneak away with UConn's Big East title. What the hell, Seton Hall? I thought we were friends. You're so going to the Atlantic 10 now. But fret not: the Huskies are 43-12 and a virtual lock to grab one of the 33 at-large bids to the NCAA regionals. And, of course, we won't have to worry about an at-large bid if the Huskies, seeded No. 2, win this week's Big East tournament. UConn opens with Cincinnati at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
