As the headline indicates, a Wall Street Journal report today indicated that the NCAA is close to reporting recruiting violations against UConn. The Journal doesn't explicitly state what the violations are related to, but one would assume its connected to Josh Nochimson and the ill-fated recruitment of Nate Miles.
That is the bad (if somewhat expected) news for UConn. The good news? The same article states that UConn and Calhoun are "signatures away" from finally signing Cal's new deal and locking him down for the next few years. His current contract ends June 30.
We'll keep you updated as new info comes out.
