The UConn baseball team scored five in the first inning, and three in the third, to beat Georgetown 8-2 Saturday in Bethesda, Md. UConn, which may never lose again ever, has won 14 straight overall, and nine straight Big East games. Rutgers is tied with UConn for the Big East lead at 9-2 heading into today's games; Louisville, Pittsburgh and USF are all a game back. Greg Nappo was solid for UConn, giving up 2 ER in 7 2/3, striking out eight and walking four. Pierre LePage and Greg Nemeth each drove in two runs. The Huskies and Hoyas play the final game of their three-game set Sunday afternoon.
