With all the hoopla over the women's record-setting run, it has been easy to lose sight of the fact that there are actually two top-5 teams at UConn. The other one, the No. 4 men, take the floor tonight in their last game before opening Big East play at Pittsburgh next Monday.
Unlike everything since Maui, tonight's game won't be a gimme for the Huskies. The Crimson are 7-2 and KenPom has them as the 85th best team in the country (UConn is 37th). Thanks in large part to Jeremy Lin, Harvard gave UConn all it could handle last year, but luckily, Lin is now in the NBA, playing for the Golden St. Warriors.
Win or lose, this will give us a much better idea of where UConn really is before heading into conference play that Coppin St. ever could.
