Big East Football Power Rankings Week 13

UConn may be in the Big East drivers seat, but that doesn't mean they're getting love from our voters as West Virginia used an impressive win over Pittsburgh to leapfrog the Huskies and reclaim the top spot. The Mountaineers grabbed five of the six first-place votes (On The Banks was the only holdout) and the Huskies will have to beat South Florida on Saturday if they want a chance at the top spot (and even then, that might not happen). 

Pitt only stumbled to the No. 3 spot, which says more about the quality of the conference than it says about them, while Syracuse and South Florida are locked in a close battle for the middle of the conference. Unfortunately for the Orange, both Voodoo Five and this site were paying attention when they got controlled by UConn and lost to BC and as a result, we knocked them down on our ballots far enough to give the Bulls the No. 4 spot.

There seems to be almost universal agreement on the bottom of the poll. Louisville isn't great, Cincinnati is bad and Rutgers is worse. 

There's one week left in the season, so check back next week to see how everything shakes out before we head into the bowls.
