UConn 38, Louisville 25: Instant reaction

Nice win.

Although Louisville carved up the Huskies for 457 total yards, 292 through the air, UConn forced four turnovers (two picks, two fumbles) -- with two coming on long Cards drives inside UConn's 35 in the third quarter -- and capitalized on them by scoring 24 points.

And most importantly, they didn't blow it in the fourth!

Despite allowing Victor Anderson to scamper into the end zone untouched on an option on fourth-and-goal with 11:21 to play, the Huskies snuffed out any comeback attempt by forcing the Cards into a three-and-out on their next possession. UConn then went on a drive that burned nearly four minutes off the clock and capped it off with a backbreaking Jordan Todman TD run that clinched the win and also resulted in team representatives ringing some bell on the sideline. (Seriously, when did we get a bell?)

Therefore, all fluffy animals are spared this weekend. In their place, the sweetest of victory dances.

Jump on it indeed, UConn.
