The three-star tight end joins several other recruits at the position.
Quinn Thompson, a three-star tight-end recruit and the number 27 player in Pennsylvania according to Rivals, has formally committed to playing his college ball at Connecticut. Thompson committed back in July and also had offers from Boston College, UMass, Ohio, Akron and Buffalo.
The 6'5 tight end runs a 4.7 40. He played quarterback and defensive end as a senior, but was much more effective with his legs (721 rushing yards) than his arm (226 passing yards). He attended General McLane high school, the alma mater of Blidi Wreh-Wilson.
