If you're anything like me you probably haven't yet come all the way down from UConn's upset of Syracuse on Wednesday night, but ready or not the Huskies have to travel back out to Hartford today to host the Villanova Wildcats. UConn's had Villanova's number in recent years, but they're still a formidable opponent (KenPom has them at 60), one that will be even harder to take down if the Huskies come out slowly (which can happen in noon games at the XL).

A win today will propel UConn up still further in the Big East standings, and may very well launch the Huskies back into the Top 25. A win would be equally helpful for the Wildcats, who have found themselves on the very edge of the bubble and are looking for an other notable win to throw in with their upsets of Syracuse and Louisville from a few weeks back.

The game tips at noon on ESPN. This is your OpenThread. Join the conversation below. Go Huskies, and remember: take the stairs because escalators are for cowards.
