Watch Bob Diaco's Introductory Press Conference Live Here

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

UConn will be streaming the press conference live on its website starting at 3:30 p.m.

In just a few minutes, former Notre Dame defensive coordinator Bob Diaco will be introduced as the new head coach of the UConn football program in what will hopefully be the beginning of a bright new future for the program.

You can watch the press conference live here.

While we obviously won't know if Diaco was the right guy until years down the road, the early feedback have been overwhelmingly positive and fans seem to be enthusiast and hopeful about the football program for the first time in what seems like forever. Perhaps just as importantly, most Notre Dame fans seem to be sad to see him go, and everybody I've talked to from that side has told me that we're really lucky to have him.

Will his introductory press conference be as epic as Kevin Ollie's? Probably not, but it will be interesting to hear what he has to say, and hopefully it will provide some insight into what UConn fans can expect over the next few years.
