Men's Soccer Streaking to Finals

Huskies defeat UCF to advance to AAC Championship game on Sunday

Lucky number 13. The #2 seeded UConn Men's Soccer team advanced to the inaugural AAC tournament championship and remained unbeaten in 13 straight games with a 2-0 victory over Directional Florida 1. The Huskies will meet Directional Florida 2 in the Finals on Sunday.

UConn defeated UCF on Friday night behind goals from Cyle Larin and Nicholas Zuniga, and another clean sheet registered by keeper Andre Blake.

The Huskies will look to keep the streak going when it faces #5 seed USF at 2 pm EST Sunday in Dallas. In the one meeting between the teams this year back in September, the game ended in a 1-1 draw. The game will be streamed online at ESPN3.
