#14 Huskies cruise to semifinals of AAC Tournament with 5-0 win over SMU

UConn is headed to Texas with a chance to bring home some hardware. The Huskies used a second half onslaught, led by freshman Cyle Larin's two goals, to defeat SMU 5-0 Saturday night and advance to next weekend's semifinal matchup against UCF.

The semifinals and finals are being held at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, TX, home of FC Dallas of the MLS.  The UConn-UCF game will kick off at 8:30 pm EST on Friday November 15.  The #2 seeded Huskies tied #3 UCF 2-2 during the regular season.

The other semifinal matchup features #5 USF and #8 Rutgers. Rutgers shocked top-seeded Louisville Saturday night 1-0 to advance. The finals will be on Sunday November 17.
