Former UConn hurdler Phylicia George qualified for the semifinals of the 100M hurdle in London this afternoon. George, who is representing Canada, posted a time of 12.83 seconds and came in second in her heat (just behind American Lolo Jones). She posted the ninth-best time. She'll run in the semifinals tomorrow at 2:05 p.m. ET and if she qualifies the finals will be tomorrow evening at 5 p.m. ET.
