UConn defeated USF 7-2 in their first game of the Big East Tournament. The turning point of the game came in the fifth inning. Trailing 2-1 with runners on the corners and no outs USF botched a suicide squeeze and failed to score in the inning. The Huskies added two runs in the sixth and never looked back. The win advances UConn into the winner's bracket of the double-elimination tournament and they will take on Big East regular season champion Louisville tomorrow night at 8 p.m. You can watch the game here, or listen on WTIC.com or through WHUS.
