Around SBN: Trent Richardson Interviews Fellow Brown Brandon Weeden

The thing that people think is when you go to these big stadiums and they have 80,000 people or 100,000 people, that these are the toughest stadiums to play at, but really, those aren't. When you have that many people, most of the time, the fans are pretty far away from the field. The toughest places to play are the ones that are jam-packed, are really tight to the field, and sit about 45,000 people. When we played at UConn my freshman year, that was the loudest place I've ever been as a football player. The stands are right next to the field, it was packed, and everyone was yelling. That was probably the coolest place for me to play at aside from Texas, Texas A&M, and Nebraska.

Heisman trophy winner Robert Griffin III on the loudest stadium he's ever been in.

I've seen this all over twitter today

Really awesome to see this coming from a Heisman winner and a class act. I was at this game my sophmore year and he was a stud. This can only help with recruiting and I would definitely show it to kids!

I failed to shed light on the beautiful Miss Julie!

Before you think I’m a tool and I feel like I let you guys down, I did show a lot of heart that day. I had a bad raw oyster from Max’s Downtown in Hartford on thursday and I had food poisoning all day saturday, sunday, and into monday. I still went to the game 2 hours early and stayed through almost passing out a few times and was up all night after the game. I failed, but there were a few good ones that I saw.

OT: I’m going to Huskies right now for a 3 hour nickel night and I have an exam tomorrow! #Senioryear

Make us proud, son

Ah, nickel night. That’s just the sort of thing an overworked 24-year-old could use, and yet it’s no longer socially acceptable to attend.

Yep

Griffin kept throwing the same goddamn slant pattern over the middle, but Donald Brown went crazy and we held on, something like 27-24 or 31-27.

I was at this game

It was a Friday night game if memory serves me. A fun game for sure. The one thing I remember was this little old Baylor couple walking down Silver Lane after the game looking for a way out. I would have pulled over and picked them up if I weren’t evil.

He's not the only one to say that

I’m pretty sure Dave Wannestad was quoted saying how he hated going to Connecticut. He said the sound is literally right on top of you and it flusters a lot of younger players.

hearing develops in college, too.
