Report: Defensive Coordinator Don Brown leaving for Yale
It looks like UConn defensive coordinator Don Brown is about to be announced as the next head football coach of Yale, according to a report from the Courant. Brown came to UConn last year to join Paul Pasqualoni's staff, departing his previous job at Maryland just days after former UConn head coach Randy Edsall accepted a position there.
His blitz-heavy style was easily the most entertaining thing about UConn's 2011 season, though it did lead to more than its fair share of big plays for opposing offenses.
The departure isn't unexpected, Brown has worked as Yale's defensive coordinator in the past and was rumored to have interviewed for the position last week.
