Big East Football Power Rankings: Week 5
Welcome back to the Big East Football Power Rankings. Every week the editors of SB Nation's Big East blogs will cast their vote in an attempt to measure the current state of the Big East. The results are below.
Not a ton of change in the rankings this week. West Virginia's loss to LSU helped South Florida solidify its hold on the top spot, though they still weren't unanimous. Everything else is more or less the status quo -- Pittsburgh wasn't penalized for losing to Notre Dame, though an inactive Louisville fell as Rutgers and Syracuse (technically) won.
UConn is in last because UConn is bad, and they don't deserve nice things.
1. South Florida (8) (4-0): 71 points -- vs. UTEP W 52-24 -- Last Week: 1

Pffft
That 2007 UConn team was so lucky, it would’ve scored those seven points another way, like the ball exploding and Tyler Lorenzen falling on the largest chunk in the end zone.
Thoroughly enjoying life atop whatever conference UConn is in today.

After looking over what West Virginia did to LSU
I’m not so sure they can be beat by anyone else in the conference. Maybe Cincy because they can go blow for blow if things are clicking, but they have yet to keep up the barrage against a good team so far.
Quick! To the Schianocopter
I've never seen more hatred
from one blog towards a team, than that of On the Banks’ for USF. Ridiculous.

OTB's rankings as a whole are pretty laughable.
/Rutgers beats a MAC team by 8 points
/Cincinnati beats NCSU by 30
“yeah we’re pretty much better”
