Johnny McEntee trick-shot video has taken the Internet by storm
Johnny McEntee, UConn's backup quarterback sure knows how to get some attention. We first had it up for you last night (a big thanks to reader JustDave), but today it has gone full-blown viral. As of this writing, the YouTube clip has almost 125,000 views in 24 hours, and even more impressively, McEntee's name is currently sitting as the No. 3 "Hot Search" over at Google Trends, which is insane.
Nice work McEntee, you're now the most famous UConn quarterback of all time.

Don't you
besmirch the name of Dan O. McEntee wishes he had even half the collection of YouTubeable blunders Dan has assembled over his sparkling career.

I was going to say the same thing
I think Danny O. is well known as well in the land of the interwebs.
18-1
Nuck Fova
Edsall: Thanks for building the program, but you are a huge douche (and I hope you fail miserably in Maryland.) correction...it may have been partly Hathaway's fault, but still could have told your players in person...So I'll change my stance to: "I don't care what you do in Maryland."
1967: Embrace it
I see your safety
and I raise you a missing helmet
But to show that Danny O wasn’t all that bad (but pretty bad) in the NFL here we go.
"The worst thing you can do, at least this is what my friends tell me, is to come after me," Calhoun said. "I'm usually better at coming out of the corner than I am up on the pedestal. I haven't been on many pedestals, by the way. I'm a natural underdog, I guess -- sometimes for no apparent reason. And if I can't be the underdog, I'll make myself the underdog, somehow or other."

The top 3 Dan O. videos
add up to about 150K views, and that’s with a long time to build an audience of multiple viewers.
Our quarterback of the future has 300K in 24 hours.

Not even celebrated in his own time
Truly a martyr for UConn quarterbacking.

UConn: Where we proudlyish carry on the dual traditions of great women's basketball teams and awful school commercials.

If you think this isn't going to show up in every OpenThread --
football and basketball — until McEntee graduates then you don’t truly appreciate our love of silly nonsense.
