Old UConn Game Films
If you're bored, or curious, or both, check out some old football and men's basketball game film from the 30s and 40s from the Dodd Center. They should open up in Windows Media Player for you.
Note: UNH basketball and URI football still stunk 80 years ago.

Spectacular
The 1934 football game against URI is, I believe, the Ramnapping Game.
After checking, indeed it is: http://www.theuconnblog.com/2009/08/29/football-preview-weekish-rhode-island/
Incredible find.
UConn: Where we proudlyish carry on the dual traditions of great women's basketball teams and awful school commercials.
Awesome
Those clips are great. A couple things:
1. Good to see UConn has always ran a version of the inside handoff.
2. If you look in the distance, you can get a taste of what the campus will look like when they take down Arjona and Monteith.
3. I haven’t seen them all yet, but I would love it if one of those videographers turned around so we could see what is today Fairfield Way looked like. When the game action goes to the left, you see all the trees that are no longer in that spot, but the one building (the Hall Building) is still there today. Obviously the architectural marvel that is our library wasn’t there yet, I’m just curious if any buildings were there yet.
Also
that picture of the basketball team is from 03-04, as it says on the basketball. So I guess Ben Gordon and Emeka Okafor missed the team picture that day, because I can’t find them in the shot.
