I’m not sold on the name either. I’m willing to bet there was some static from the NHL. The explanation on who owns the rights to the name isn’t forthcoming. Personally, I’d be pissed if the NHL was making money off a team that they couldn’t wait to get out of town.
To be honest, as long as Baldwin and his people are running the operation, they could name it the Connecticut Douchenozzles for all I care. Imagine the logo.
